Its old town and the Loyola Basilica can not be missed. In the Basque railway museum a big collection of trains from Europe can be seen. In Azpeitia there are many festivals. The most important are: San Sebastian,  Carnival, San Ignacio and Santo Tomas.

Azkoitia is very few kilometres away from Azpeitia, a town full of history, art and culture. To pin point the new Oteiza frontones, which is the Pelota museum where architecture  and sport come together creating a modern Azkoitia.

Near Azpeitia, now near the cost line, the Ekainberri museum can be found, which is a replica of the Ekain cave in Zestoa and the flysch in Zumaia.
